The company claims it is used in Hospitals also. If it can penetrate Germ cells easily, is it not that it also penetrates the body cells and the human body happens to have different types of cells. Will the UV-C rays not penetrate and change them too? Its a concern as changing cell means its Cancer like. May be is this product silently contributing to the Cancer cause in the US and other places where it is used? How do we know which Air Purifier is good for the health. I’m looking for a good air purifier that I can use in my bedroom. Bedroom is about 11 x 10 feet. I have allergy problems that require me to take daily allergy meds and monthly allergy shots. I do not want one with the OZONE feature. Actually, like any "electronic air cleaner" they emit ozone as a by product. But the ozone that is emitted is such a small quantity, though, you can smell it rather heavily, its still in parts per million, and wont damage any type of electronic equipment. I have had electronic air cleaners since the 90s and wouldnt want to be with out one! (In fact, mine is broke right now and the wife is throwing a fit, because I am waiting for this Summer to get a new one, along with a new furnace!).
